The Longwood Symphony Orchestra combines the healing arts of music and medicine to perform
this quarterly concert of classical music to benefit the Children’s Dyslexia Center, Boston North.
The orchestra primarily comprises healthcare professionals and is nationally recognized for its
musical quality, innovative programming, and unique model of community engagement to help local
nonprofits raise awareness and funds for important medical, wellness, and educational causes.
The Children’s Dyslexia Center, Boston North, provides life changing tutoring with its high quality,
individualized, tuition-free program, and trains local educators to become certified dyslexia tutors.
The Center belongs to a family of more than 40 Centers throughout 13 states.
