Abbott Scholarship 2026

The 2026 Abbott Scholarship is available! The scholarship helps students who are connected to the fraternity to continue their education at an accredited institution of higher education. Ill∴ Leon M. Abbott, whom the scholarship is named after, was a member of the Valley of Boston, the Thrice Potent Master of Boston Lafayette Lodge of Perfection from 1904 to 1906, and Sovereign Grand Commander of the Northern Masonic Jurisdiction from 1921 to 1932.


Our scholarships are investments in the future of both our country and fraternity. Students are eligible if they meet the following criteria:


A Scottish Rite Mason of the Northern Masonic Jurisdiction who is in good standing


A student directly related (bloodline or by legal means) to a Scottish Rite Mason in the Northern Masonic Jurisdiction or a member of a youth organization sponsored by the Masonic fraternity in the Northern Masonic Jurisdiction who is…

Valley of Portsmouth Dover Degree Day

On Saturday, February 21, 2026, join us for the fourth annual Digital Degree Marathon at The Valley of Portsmouth Dover! We’re excited to present six degrees, along with engaging discussions following each degree, Masonic education, orientation, and the opportunity to connect with fellow brothers.


We are honored to have several 33° brothers available to answer any questions that may arise. Around noon, we will provide a complimentary lunch for all attendees. Don’t miss out on this unique chance to deepen your Masonic knowledge and enjoy the camaraderie of brotherhood. Please inform your members about this fantastic event!  We had approximately 100 brothers attend the first two marathons. Reservations are not required, but certainly appreciated.

Valley of Pittsfield – Dr. Joseph Warren Event

The Valley of Pittsfield is very fortunate to be hosting noted historian Brother Christian Di Spigna on Saturday 04/25, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Pittsfield Masonic Building in Pittsfield, MA. Brother Di Spigna will be discussing both his highly acclaimed biography, “Founding Martyr: The Life and Death of Dr. Joseph Warren, the American Revolution’s Lost Hero” as well as the Dr. Joseph Warren Documentary currently being produced by the Dr. Joseph Warren Foundation. A spaghetti dinner will be held at 6:00 PM – A $10.00 per person donation for dinner is suggested with part of the proceeds going to support the Valley’s Berkshire County Charitable Giving Program – Brother Di Spigna’s presentation will begin at 7:00 PM…
