Application Deadline for 14° is Approaching

Between the North Shore A Capella, Jon Stetson and all the brotherhood and food you want, what’s not to love about the 14° on February 28? Combine all of this with a short day, and becomes the perfect opportunity to introduce a brother mason to the Scottish Rite. Remember that any Master Mason that plans to start his journey and join the Valley of Boston at the end of this month needs to submit their application by Friday, February 20. Applications are available by download here and through the valley website. We hope to see you there!

The Tyler's Place on Podcast

Ever wanted to listen to talk radio on your own time and without commercials? Have you desired to listen to engaging discussions rather than repetative music while shoveling snow pile after snow pile? If so, then podcasts are the way to go for you!

Podcasts come in many shapes and sizes, but generally follow the same formula. A podcast is an audio series where a person, or group of people, discuss topics relative to the series. These audio files can be streamed from the internet or downloaded to computers and mobile devices. Think of a podcast like talk radio but without the commercials.

Don't Forget Valentine's Day is Tomorrow

One of the most important days of the year to your lady just may be tomorrow. Whether she is your significant other, mother, sister, daughter or any other lady, Valentine’s Day is a chance to win over her heart (and score some brownie points when you forgot a birthday). While a man could go over the top and plan an elaborate and expensive day filled with perfume, jewelry and fine wine, he certainly can do more with less.

A simple bouquet of flowers or chocolate can go a long way in showing that you care. Taking a few minutes today at work to hand make a card can really brighten up her day. If you’ve got the whole day with her tomorrow, pick up a romantic-comedy from a Redbox and plan to cook some simple comfort food.

Regardless of how much money you want to sink in to tomorrow, make sure to always be the gentleman and tell her, “I love you.” And remember to go to the store on Sunday and pick up all of the chocolate that will be half off!

Happy Valentine’s Day!
