Happy Hanukkah 2014

{C}{C}

With this evening marking the beginning of The Festival of Lights, the Valley of Boston wants to wish everyone a Happy Hanukkah! Over the next eight days, families all across our land will spend time in prayer with their loved ones as they commemorate the rededication of the Holy Temple in Jerusalem.

As a new candle is lit on the menorah each night to fill a home with warmth, so should we take the time to keep the light ablaze in our hearts for our fellow man. Scottish Rite teaches us to strive to fulfill our Masonic obligation to care for our brothers. Now is the perfect time to do so.

The holiday season is a special time to reconnect with friends and family over food and song. Let us know where you will be for the holidays on Facebook or Twitter so we can share it with all of our brothers!

May the next few weeks be as special for you as it is for everyone in the Valley of Boston.

Happy Hanukkah
