Cool Times at Canobie
Event date: August 13, 2015 to September 10, 2015
This past Saturday over 300 of our Brethren, families, and friends gathered together for the Valley of Boston Family Life Committee’s annual summer outing. This year we once again returned to Canobie Lake Park in Salem, New Hampshire for a day of fun, food, and thrills!

It was a bright, sunny day when the gates opened at 11am. We were eager to enjoy over 50 rides and amusements before heading down to the picnic area for a traditional picnic lunch of hamburgers and hot dogs along with barbecued chicken. After lunch everyone set off to explore the park but we were easy to spot since we were all wearing Family Life stickers and kids were sporting their purple backpacks!

Plenty of families enjoyed the water park and stayed cool in the many water rides. We also saw many of the families at the exciting shows and attractions. Overall it was a wonderful day and, if you missed the event this year, we hope you’ll consider joining us at next year’s outing!

A special thank you goes out to the Family Life Committee and the lead man on this project, Bro. Joe Turner. We hope to see everyone next summer at our next summer event!
