Cake Challenge Success!

The Membership Committee has been having a scrumptious spring so far with the Cake Collation Challenge! At the beginning of this calendar year, Membership Chairman Alfredo Canhoto challenged lodges around the area to sponsor their Master Masons to join the Valley of Boston at the Spring Reunion. For every lodge that sponsored two or more brothers, a cake would be hand delivered at a collation later in the year. With eight lodges rising to the challenge, a lot of great cake has been eaten!

Seven cakes have been presented by Joe Turner, Sam Newland and Rick Dickson of the Membership Committee. Pictures are being taken to show our new Scottish Rite brethren with their lodge's cake. If you have photos from one of these presentations, share them with us on Facebook.

The final lodge to be presented a cake is St. John's Lodge in Boston. The cake delivery is scheduled for their monthly meeting in September. If you would like to accompany our Cake Crew and welcome our newest brethren then contact Alfredo Canhoto.
