Broadway Comes to Boston!

The Valley of Boston is often praised for the professionalism of our degrees. This Spring Class proves to up the ante with a million pieces of high tech equipment!

Coming straight from the stages of Broadway comes a state-of-the-art LED screen. This screen is really more of a wall; a wall comprised of 136 interlocking panels that are filled with 96x96 pixels. Take out your calculators to find that there are over a million pixels up on stage! This LED wall will replace the normal backdrops and help creating a smooth transition process from scene to scene. The screen is also safer than the normal backdrops which can be old and not fire retardant. Taking a look behind the wall shows a giant array of blinking lights that allow the wall to pump out fantastically clear pictures. It is truly a marvel to behold!

Ethan Gilson and his crew spent a whole day setting up this behemoth and are extremely proud of it. He had this to say about the wall:
“The creative flexibility that this technology presents the valley is boundless. We can transform the stage from the Solomonic era of the Lodge of Perfection degrees through to the 20th century Consistory degrees with vibrant backdrops that can come to life.”
If you attend the One Day Class for anything, let it be the technological feat that has graced the stages of the Valley of Boston!
