The Tyer's Place on Podcast

Ever wanted to listen to talk radio on your own time and without commercials? Have you desired to listen to engaging discussions rather than repetitive music while shoveling snow pile after snow pile? If so, then podcasts are the way to go for you!

Podcasts come in many shapes and sizes, but generally follow the same formula. A podcast is an audio series where a person, or group of people, discuss topics relative to the series. These audio files can be streamed from the internet or downloaded to computers and mobile devices. Think of a podcast like talk radio but without the commercials.

The Southern Jurisdiction of Scottish Rite has launched a podcast series surrounding Freemasonry for brothers by brothers. The Tyler’s Place was highlighted in this month’s issue of The Northern Light. Host Bro. Maynard Edwards, 32° discusses topics from acting in degrees to time management. The Baltimore based radio broadcaster also brings in expert guests for interviews.

There are four episodes to date that run for approximately 26 minutes a piece with a new episode launching every month. Each can be streamed from the internet or through the host application, Stitcher. Take a listen while you commute to work or shovel more snow this weekend!
