Woodchoppers Are Headed to Chicago

Massachusetts Consistory is set to take center stage on Saturday, September 20, to perform their renowned rendition of the Woodchoppers Degree. 38 members will travel to the Valley of Chicago to perform at the brand new building in Bloomingdale, Illinois. It will be performed for the  Northern Masonic Jurisdiction Membership Committee’s Membership Conference.

The Woodchoppers Degree is unique as it is the only musical degree in the Northern Masonic Jurisdiction and incorporates a great deal of audience participation. The performances put on by Massachusetts Consistory have become very popular during their travels. Valleys from across New England have hosted this important degree; from the Valley of Portland, ME to the Valley of New Haven, CT and many in between.

Bro. David R. Lucas, 32°, director of the degree, and his troupe will perform as the entertainment for the luncheon on September 20. Those members from the Valley of Boston that will be traveling for the conference will have the pleasure of joining their brothers in the singing. If you want to wish your brothers good luck, then contact the Commander in Chief Scott Inglis, 33° to offer your best wishes.
