Behind the Scenes A Success

 

On March 8th, many brothers and several wives travel to Grand Lodge for the Boston Lafayette Lodge of Perfection “Behind the Scenes”.

 

The crowd gathered in Gothic Hall for a backstage tour of the production rooms, sound booth, light board, and the 9th floor used for wardrobe and makeup.

 

After the tour, one of the directors walked the members through a scene from a play entitled: “Something’s Brewing in Boston”. All six participants were new members who joined at the Fall 2013 Grand Master’s Class.

Spring Rehearsals Have Begun

 

 

The Spring One Day Class is less than a month away on Saturday, April 5, 2014, in Gothic Hall at the Grand Lodge building, 186 Tremont Street, Boston, Massachusetts.

 

The four bodies of the Valley of Boston have been rehearsing and preparing for the upcoming One Day Class. There is much work that goes into rehearsals which include singing, the “men behind the curtains” aka production, and the degree workers to carry out the work.

Massachusetts Consistory on the Road

 

On March 29, 2014 Massachusetts Consistory will be performing the Woodchopper’s Degree for the Valley of Providence in Cranston, RI. The Woodchopper’s Degree is a singing degree that has already been performed numerous times by Massachusetts Consistory for other Valleys throughout New England.

 

Members of the Woodchopper’s Degree have traveled as far as Bangor, ME to New Haven, CT to as close as Worcester, MA.
