Valley Men Elected as Grand Lodge Officers

At the Grand Lodge Annual Communication on Wednesday, December 11, 2013, the Grand Lodge of Masons of Massachusetts held its annual election of Grand Lodge Officers. The Valley of Boston wishes to congratulate two Valley men (among others) who were elected to Grand Lodge offices for 2014.

Both men began their Masonic careers as members of DeMolay in Massachusetts. Both rose to the highest office of a Chapter, Master Councilor, during their time in DeMolay. Both are recipients of the Degree of Chevalier for outstanding activity and labor for DeMolay. Also, both men are recipients of the Legion of Honor for outstanding service for DeMolay and humanity. 

 

Kenneth W. Pfeiffer, 32oGrand Sword Bearer, was elected to the office of Junior Grand Warden for the 2014 year. Bro. Pfeiffer was raised in 1978 in Frank W. Thompson Lodge in Bedford, MA, where he served as Worshipful Master in 2003. He has served the Grand Lodge of Masons of Massachusetts in many positions over the years as Grand Senior Deacon, Grand Piper, District Deputy Grand Master for the 14th Masonic District of Massachusetts, and Grand Sword Bearer. Bro. Pfeiffer became a member of the Valley of Boston in a one day class in December of 1980. Bro. Pfeiffer served as a member of the Consistory Guard and is an Assistant Master of Ceremonies for Massachusetts Consistory. As of today, Bro. Pfeiffer has been a member of the Valley of Boston for 33 years. 

 

Thomas A. Stark, 32oGrand Marshal, was elected to the office of Senior Grand Warden for the 2014 year. Bro. Stark was raised in Norfolk Lodge in Needham, MA in 1973. He served as Worshipful Master in 1990. He has served the Grand Lodge of Masons of Massachusetts in many positions over the years as District Deputy Grand Marshal for the 5th Masonic District of Massachusetts, Grand Pursuviant, Grand Sword Bearer, and Grand Marshal. Bro. Stark became a member of the Valley of Boston in a one day class in December of 1989. As of today, Bro. Stark has been a member of the Valley of Boston for 24 years. 

We are pleased to see these brethren, as well as the others, to have been met with such well deserved success in their Masonic careers. We wish them nothing but the best in the upcoming year, and beyond.
